⚠️ Since you are going to make / receive payments directly, please be careful. Please do not share any PIN, password, OTP, login ID, debit card/credit card no., CVV, expiry date etc. with anyone. ⚠️

Here are several safety guidelines to help make sure that your usage of PreHugged Bazaar is safe. While community members who use PreHugged Bazaar have success with buying & selling while connecting with others, it is important we help keep our community members safe from people attempting to scam or defraud them.

• Mobile verification – At PreHugged Bazaar, all buyers and sellers have to register & login using their mobile number with SMS Code in order for their listings to be successfully listed. This gives our community more confidence in trusting one another, and helps to create a safer and more enjoyable community platform.
• In order reduce everyone’s exposure to potential fraud / scam, we have restricted access to everyone’s WhatsApp number. This WhatsApp number is made visible only with active Membership for which Membership plan has to be purchased.
• ⛔ Never share Card/PIN/OTP/CVV details
• ⛔ Stay away from Scam Investment schemes. If you suspect such a message has come from a PreHugged Bazaar listing owner, please use Report a Problem button on that listing.
• ⛔ Do not share your home address unless you know the other person and want them to visit you.
• ⛔ Do not use QR codes for processing payments
• PreHugged Bazaar is never involved in any transaction between buyers & sellers, and does not handle payments, shipping, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer “buyer protection” or “seller certification” for buyers or sellers. Every deal on PreHugged Bazaar is considered a private agreement between seller and the buyer.
• Please verify payment receipt into your Bank account if online payment is chosen and not via some screenshot shared with you.
• Please make yourself aware of common scams and fraud prevalent in the news daily.
• Common sense is king – If it looks too good to be true – it probably is. Use your gut feel and logical reasoning to assess the sensibility of each deal. Do your due diligence and don’t be shy to ask questions if unsure or even request for additional photos of an item to help you make your decision.
• Be wary of showcase of absolute urgency to sell the item or an emotional appeal. A family member is sick and in urgent need of money for the operation, payment of school fees, etc.
• If you are the victim of fraud, call 1930 IMMEDIATELY AND/OR submit transaction details to cybercrime cell at https://cybercrime.gov.in

• We have put 📢 Important Info 📢 for Members on every Listing Page to remind you again and again about this.
• Let us know, in case you’ve come across any suspicious behaviour while interacting with buyers & sellers through PreHugged Bazaar. Please use Report a Problem button on the Listing.
