Velcro Animal Puzzle activity

Step 1: Your child matches animal tiles with their silhouettes on the board and sticks them in place.
Step 2: Make it a memory game by flipping the board over. Ask your child to place animal tiles in their respective places.

Discuss
1. Spatial Relation: To your child, describe the habitat of each animal and point out where each is located.
2. Cognition: Introduce your child to the concepts of herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, apart from the habitat of each animal.
3. Vocabulary: Use the following words while talking to your child: Lion, Deer, Zebra, Elephant, Monkey, Leopard, Giraffe, Hippopotamus
4. Creative Development: To your child, narrate an interesting story of what could be happening in the jungle.
5. Recall: Ask your child to recall the names of animals and where they live. Then, tell him/her to put the tiles in their respective places.
