1. Count: To your child, explain that he/she needs to count and put leaf tiles. It’s a number activity. 2. 2. Scale: Help your child understand how the plants increase in size progressively.
3. Cognition: To your child, describe the different parts of a plant – leaf, stem, and flower.
4. Social: Teach your child about how to take care of a plant and why it’s important to take care. Eg: Plant needs water and sunlight to grow, etc.
5. Coordination: Let your child place and take off the leaf tiles as many times as he/she wants. It’s about hand-eye coordination. This apart, it’s a tactile sensory experience.
